About GDD

The Good Deeds Day is an annual tradition of good deeds. It is a global day that unites people from hundreds of countries on all continents to do “GOOD” for the benefit of others and the planet.

All over the world, millions of people choose to volunteer and help others, putting into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and change the world for the better. This concept gives hope that if everybody did one act of kindness at every given opportunity, there would be a very significant difference and the world would certainly be a better place for all mankind

Change African Child International is the leading and point of contact for all local organizations, institutions, Individuals and workplaces in Uganda,
Mandated by Ruach Tova Association, an Israel nonprofit organization to create appositive change in communities by spreading Good Deeds Day (“GDD”) in Uganda and around the world, inspiring people to volunteer, to do good deeds, to mobilize and empower organizations to facilitate volunteering activities during Good Deeds day and all year round.
