COVID 19, food aid response to the vulnerable community of 3000 families located on the fishing village of Lwenjaba in Entebbe Uganda.
The campaign for food aid response in Lwenjaba Fishing village in Entebbe –Uganda having over 3000 families staying in semi-permanent houses was successfully done.
The funds that was collected via givingway platform has been used to improve on the food security for two months distributions, with masks
for COVID 19 prevention, purchase of water tanks to be put at the entrance of Lwenjaba village and detergents as well, printed posters in they local language to be placed in various concerns on prevention guidelines of corona virus. This is to ensure the safety of lives.
which were of recently affected by the high levels of water from the lake that misplaced many of the homes. The site is undergoing through building of new houses, No more fishing as its risky to the lake with high
waves.The situation is even worse while in lock down for the last 92 days, movements restricted and expensive to make an alternative way of earning a living.
